You may remember that I won the giveaway on Margie's blog http://xnomads.typepad.com/ during February's One Little Word Blog Hop.  Check about 2-3 posts back if you want to see the post.  Anyways, Margie lives in China and I received the package today with some amazing gifts!   Thank you so much, Margie - these are so special and beautiful!  So, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, check these out (I took pictures of everything!)

Levant Crop

Sandy Tompsett, Creative Memories Consultant, held another great crop at Levant this weekend.  I got a lot done.  I'm working on Project Life 2011 and decided to purchase a 2nd Project Life kit to get my 2010 photos into an album.  I'm having a lot of fun with this very different way of "scrapbooking" this type of album.  The good news I'm mostly finished through October 2010!  And hope to finish the rest next weekend at Anna Estus' crop in Kennedy.  Here's a general view of one half of the room.

In the next photo, Amber Smith, owner of the online store, Amber's Scrap Attic is helping a couple of croppers with her make'n take and answering a customer's question.
And in the last photo, Sandy Tompsett (standing, dressed in black) is talking with a couple of croppers.
Just a reminder that this Tuesday is the One Little Word Blog Hop again.  Hope you'll stop back here for that.

Congratulations! You are the winner of my OLW Blog Hop Give-A-Way!

When I opened my email yesterday this caught my eye right away!  Margie, the organizer of  the blog hop on Feb 1st was letting me know I had won the give-a-way she hosted on her blog. Woo-Hoo!The photo above is Margie's son after he picked my name.   Her blog is first on the list below (see Jan 31st post for list). You'll want to check out the photos on her blog of the fireworks there - her photography is beautiful!
I'll have to wait a little while for my goodies as Margie lives in China and they are celebrating Chinese New Year and things are closed for the holiday.  I'll post when I get my goodies.  And mark March 1st on your calendar as we're doing the Blog Hop again!  And I'll be there will be more give-a-ways this time!

Follow up to One Little Word Blog Hop

I had a lot of fun checking out the other 33 blogs during yesterday's One Little Word Blog Hop.  I hope you did too.  If you haven't had a chance yet, I encourage you to check the list in yesterday's post!  What a variety of styles, interests and presentations!  Great inspiration.
I wanted to share with you the supplies I used for January.  The album (see photo) is a We R Memory Keepers Classic Leather Album in red.  I am loving this album and have already purchased a second one looking forward to doing this project again.  I also plan to buy some in the 12 x 12 size for the many albums I have yet to finish.  The 9 pocket page that was the main part of our assignment for January came in a pack from Pink Paislee.  I've also purchased 2 more packs of these - I love the variety in this pack!  We'll adding to the back part of this page for our February assignment.  Both of these items I ordered from scrapbook.com.  Very happy with them - great customer service and speedy delivery.  The other items I used were some white cardstock from my stash that I ran through my printer for the template that Ali provided for the cards.  The gold color paper was also something I already had - it's DCWV Shimmer Stack- which I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink (walnut stain) on to age a little.  My color theme for this project is red, white, black and gold.  I'm trying very hard to let this project evolve and not rush it.  Its entirely possible that some of this will change overtime.  I'm still not entirely pleased with the look of the dictionary piece with the definition on it.  Hope you'll join us again for March's Blog Hop to see the results of February assignments. Thank you to all who visited and a special thanks to those who are now following my blog!  I hope to inspire!
